Her core areas of practice are corporate and foreign investment.

She specializes in foreign-based, long-term employee incentive plans sometimes called employee stock ownership plans (“ESOPs”), offered to employees in Vietnam.

She has an interest in the regulation of anti-money laundering as it impacts corporate compliance responsibility in both the financial and non-financial sectors.

  • Acted for foreign contractors to obtain contractor licenses for the construction project of commercial – hotel complex, wind power project; advised a foreign airline to obtain a certificate of eligibility to transport dangerous goods by air;
  • Assisted Bangkok University and Loyola University Chicago to establish and maintain their presence in Vietnam, and handled issues arising out of the operation of their representative offices;
  • Advised on establishment and on-going operation of foreign invested enterprises and local companies in terms of manufacturing electronic components, production of components and spare parts of motor vehicles and assembly of motorcycles and motor vehicles for export, food and beverage, accommodation services, real estate management services, information technology.
  • Has obtained State Bank of Vietnam approval for foreign ESOPs to register and implement performance share plans and share purchase programs for employees, for companies such as Sanofi, AnyMind, Ipsen and other multinational companies; she has advised Shiseido, Dell, Aviva, Rolls-Royce on their share plans, among other companies;
  • Member of Due Diligence team involved in reviews in acquisition of target companies in respect of tissue paper production, insurance business, retailing business, food and beverage companies, aviation industry, medical treatment, manufacturing of construction materials, e-commerce, renewal energy and others;
  • Advised on regulations on money remittance services, offshore investment, storage of customers’ identification and transaction records to be compliant with anti-money laundering requirements which apply to credit institutions, law firms, and non-financial businesses and professions;
