Amphenol Corporation announced completion of the acquisition of CommScope’s Connectivity and Cable Solutions business (CCS) for US$10.5 billion in cash. The transaction involved transfer of CCS and nearly 20,000 employees of CommScope worldwide to Amphenol Corporation. This transaction followed Amphenol Corporation earlier separate and successful acquisition of CommScope’s Outdoor Wireless Networks (OWN) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for US$ 2.1 billion last year.

Russin & Vecchi acted as Vietnam counsel, alongside Latham & Watkins, to assist Amphenol Corporation a long-time client, in both the current and the prior acquisition of CommScope Vietnam.

Amphenol Corporation is one of the world’s largest designers, manufacturers and marketers of electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors and interconnect systems, antennas, sensors and sensor-based products and coaxial and high-speed specialty cable.
