Russin & Vecchi has acted as legal counsel for NTT GDC (alongside Squire Patton Boggs acting as Japanese counsel) in formation of a joint venture company (“JV”) with QD.Tek in Saigon Hi-Tech Park. The JV will construct a new “Ho Chi Minh City 1 Data Center” to be launched in 2024. The new Data Center will comprise a five-story building providing a total of 6MW of critical IT load capacity for IT equipment to 3,114m2 (equivalent to 1,200 racks) of server rooms, based on a rigorous facility design to meet Tier III standards.
We were involved from the outset in intensive discussions and negotiations for formation of the JV and we continue to advise NTT GDC’s on ongoing issues in the JV’s material matters. Our team is led by Partner Huynh Cong Tam, supported by Associate Chu Bao Khanh.
